The Swan Restaurant

Mealtimes are one of the highlights of the day at Mistley Manor. Our chef prepares fresh, seasonal food daily in the Swan Restaurant — a warm, sociable dining space where residents enjoy good food, good company, and choices always available.

Bar & coffee lounge

Our bar and coffee lounge is a relaxed space for residents to socialise, enjoy a favourite drink, and entertain family and friends. Open throughout the day, it brings a warmth and normality that our residents love.

Cinema room

Our private cinema room gives residents the pleasure of the big screen in the comfort of home. Films, television events, and special screenings are a regular part of life at Mistley Manor.

Beauty salon

A haven of relaxation on the ground floor. Our beauty salon offers a full menu of treatments — from facials and manicures to massage and men's grooming. Appointments can be booked through reception.

Hair salon

Our dedicated hair salon means residents can maintain their appearance without leaving the comfort of home. Our visiting hairdresser provides cuts, colours, sets, and styling in a friendly, relaxed setting.

Lounges & quiet lounge

We have multiple lounge areas across the home — lively social spaces for activities and conversation, as well as a dedicated quiet lounge for those who prefer a calmer environment. There is always a space that feels just right.

Family room

A private, comfortable space reserved for residents and their families. Whether for a birthday celebration, an intimate visit, or simply some private time together, the family room is always available to book.

Landscaped gardens

Our gardens are designed to be enjoyed all year round — with level paths, sheltered seating, and rich seasonal planting. Residents are encouraged to spend time outdoors, and our activities team regularly runs gardening sessions.

Library & IT suite

Our private library and IT suite gives residents access to books, newspapers, and the internet — keeping minds active and connections to the wider world alive. Family video calls are easy to arrange with support from our team.

Visitation suite

A thoughtfully designed space for visits that require greater privacy or sensitivity. Comfortable, welcoming, and completely private — available to book through the care team.

Laundry service

A private, in-house laundry service means residents never need to worry about their clothes. Everything is handled with care and returned promptly — another small thing that makes life feel easier.
